Tax exemption vs Ceasing tax residency

Hi everyone, quick question😭. Was just reading the tax article on Saffa, and was wondering if anyone has ceased their tax residency and if you recommend this as opposed to applying for the tax exemption? I don’t know if I plan on staying in the UAE permanently, so I’m not sure which is the best option
