Hi fellow Saffa’s My daughter recently turned 18 and is going into her final year of school in Dubai. She is really wanting to try and get a part-time / weekend job to try and gain independence and work skills, while earning some pocket money like we all did as teens growing up in SA. We’ve approached several places already but not many are clued up about the legalities of obtaining work permits etc, so are wary about hiring students. Ideally, she would love to get some work in hospitality and/or events but she’s open to anything including babysitting and pet sitting.
