- Reed.co.uk, Indeed.co.uk, Totaljobs.com — The main UK job boards across all sectors.
- NHS Jobs (jobs.nhs.uk) — All NHS vacancies. Heavily recruits SA-trained doctors, nurses and allied health professionals.
- Glassdoor.co.uk — Company reviews, salary data and job listings combined.
Regulated professions: how SA qualifications register in the UK
- Doctors — General Medical Council (GMC). PLAB test usually required unless from a GMC-approved medical school.
- Nurses — Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). CBT and OSCE required.
- Dentists — General Dental Council (GDC). Overseas Registration Exam (ORE) required.
- Lawyers — Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA). Qualified Lawyers Transfer Scheme available.
- Chartered Accountants (CA SA) — SAICA has a reciprocal agreement with ICAEW. Ask SAICA for the pathway.

Your CV: key differences from SA
- No photo — UK CVs never include a photo. Remove it.
- No personal details beyond name and contact info — No date of birth, ID number or marital status.
- Two pages maximum — UK recruiters expect a concise, focused CV.
- Tailor to each application — Generic CVs perform poorly in UK ATS systems.
- References — Write "References available on request." Do not list referees on your CV.
